If you have additional questions, email us at help@mofund.org. You never have to explain why you need an abortion to get help paying for your care. We believe everyone deserves access to abortion funding, and that the right time to have an abortion is when you need one.
We want you to get assistance as quickly as possible. Please follow the steps below.
1
Make your appointment.
We understand that may not have funding for your abortion. However, in order to receive our funding you must first make your appointment. Please follow these steps to avoid delays in your care.
Be ready to share information like your date of birth and the date of your last period. You can find your closest clinic by using abortionfinder.org or Ineedana.com. Here is a list of the clinic partners we work with most frequently.
If you already have an appointment at an abortion clinic, but haven’t received help with the cost, your next step is to call the clinic and ask about funding. If you made your appointment online, you may need to call for information about funding. The clinic will ask you a few questions and apply any available support, including ours. Some clinics apply our funding without saying it’s from Missouri Abortion Fund. It’s ok to ask them if the funding support includes us.
Since our funding goes directly to the clinic, there's no need to follow up with us or take any extra steps. If you have any questions regarding your bill, please contact the clinic directly.
